Lately, I often go to Northern part of lake Biwa to find good fishing spots for winter.
When I went there last time, fish were not biting at all.
However, I caught average size pot bellied largemouth bass a lot!!
They pulled on the line pretty hard, and it was quite exciting to catch them.
Before dawn, I found boils.
A lot of fish gathered at a certain time but suddenly they swam away.I wanted to find out where they had gone… and I found them in the spring water area.
You can find a spring water area by finding continuous bubbles coming up from the bottom or observing an inlet.
Cast your lure to the spring water area, you will have a lot of bites!!
During a day, small largemouth bass are very active.
Catching big fish before dawn is the key.
Few weeks ago, I cast Texas and Jig head swimming and had many bites and my worms got damaged. But I didn’t have any bites on the day.

So, I cast swimming jig.Fish were responding well and I caught one! It wasn’t big though…
It’s the change from summer to autumn.
I think I need to prepare swimming jigs, Vibration lures, and etc.
I might go to the Southern part of lake Biwa next time.
