Effective October 1, 2026
For international orders, we charge a shipping deposit of ¥3,600 at checkout. Once your order is packed, we weigh the package and calculate the final shipping cost. If it is different from the deposit, we adjust the total amount.
Until now, when you paid by credit card, we changed the amount of your original card payment to the final total.
Our payment provider has changed its system, so starting October 1, 2026, we can no longer change the amount of an existing card payment. Credit card orders will now be handled as follows:
If the final shipping cost is more than ¥3,600
Your original payment stays as it is. We will send you a payment link created for your order, and you pay only the difference through that link.
If the final shipping cost is less than ¥3,600
- We cancel your original payment (product price + ¥3,600 deposit).
- We process a new payment for the corrected amount (product price + final shipping cost).
- The original payment is refunded to your card.
For a short period, both the original payment and the new payment may show on your card statement. The original payment will be refunded, but how long it takes to show on your statement depends on your card issuer.
Changing the payment amount this way can also cause payment errors more easily.
If you pay with a debit card or prepaid card
Debit cards and prepaid cards do not work well with this payment process. The original payment is taken from your account right away, and the refund may take some time to reach your account. Your bank may also charge fees on the payment or the refund. We are not responsible for any fees your bank or card issuer charges.

For these reasons, we recommend paying with PayPal.
About refund timing
Because of personal information and privacy policy rules, we are not able to see when a refund will reach your card. Refunds to your card are processed by your card issuer. Please contact your card issuer directly about refund timing.
