IMAKATSU / BASSROID Jr TRIPLE DOUBLE DSF is one of the best selling lures from May to July.

This is a year-round jointed lure, but works really well especially during May to July in Japan.
Largemouth bass spawn in spring, and the hatched fry grow about 10cm – 25cm from May to July. Big largemouth bass eat the young bass. Just cast and retrieve.It’s that simple.

Field report – Reservoir fishing

Reservoir fishing on my day off.

I saw numerous young ayu in the backwater.

It had rained the day before, so the water was muddy and flow of water was strong.
I used the finesse technique but fish didn’t respond to my lure. I thought it was hard to catch fish as there were a lot of young ayu, so I chose a big soft plastic bait.

Yes! I caught 3 nice bass in a row!!!
