Japan Post has announced on their website that they will no longer accept EMS small packets bound for the US.

In response to this announcement, we will be unable to ship EMS small packets to the US from August 27th. Your orders will ship via FedEx or DHL, and we will be collecting a 30% tariff for Chinese products and 15% tariff for products from other countries, along with additional shipping fees. We will ship your package once payment is complete.

Regarding shipments to the US, taxes will change for shipments cleared by customs on August 29th.

1. Abolition of de minimis tax.
   Until now, there was no tax on personal shipments under $800.
   All items cleared by customs after August 29th will be subject to import tax.
2. 15% Tax.
   All shipments from Japan to the US will be subject to a 15% tariff (without Chinese-made products).
   President Trump has made this decision.
3. Please pay tax in advance.
   We will pay the 15% tariff in full in advance.
   After placing your order, you will be charged the shipping fee and 15% tax.
   Once we receive your payment, we will ship your parcel promptly.

The above changes will be implemented for orders placed on August 27th.
