I let a lure sink, but fish weren’t responding at all.
They were looking upwards and they stopped chasing the lure when they swam out into the river from the narrow water area.

The bait fish was Ayu, but I used GILLING 125HF instead of Pencilbait. Pencilbait moves too much when I let it move, but GILLING 125HF minimizes the moving distance like Nail rig.

After casting, pause and repeat twitch several times and I had a bite!

      

GILLING 125HF is a Gill shaped lure, but you can use it not only on the water that holds Gill but also in a variety of situations.

It was a really hot day today.
I went fishing with my fishing buddy, mainly top water fishing.
We caught a lot of small largemouth bass in the morning.

Even though it was middle of the week,
there were many anglers fishing there.

We moved to a different spot.
Just after we moved, he had a bite!!

It was big!!!

Over 55 cm in length!!!

 

He asked me if I wanted to try Calling Pepper.
So I cast it several times.
It was so much fun to use it, but it wasn’t easy to catch fish.

 
He knows the character of Calling Pepper well,
so he caught a lot of fish with it.

 

 

We used light rig, Texas rig, Jika-rig, Carolina rig, No sinker rig, and etc…

However only small largemouth bass were caught on them.

I think I need to learn more about fishing
such as best fishing times, wind directions, water, and etc…
