【Lure 】 Geecrack / IRON SHAD # CHART
【Rig 】 Weighted rig
Largemouth bass started to move in closer to shore.
I skipped IRON SHAD (# CHART, Weighted rig) under overhanging trees.
Fish hit the bait when I started reeling it in.
For daytime fishing, Chart colored soft plastic baits are very effective when fishing stained and muddy water.
My parents’ home is in Shiga prefecture.
As you know, Lake Biwa is located in the pref.
On my way to my parents’ home, I stopped by Lake Biwa for fishing.
I fished the heavy drop shot rig on a spinning tackle.
Cast it further and gave it a shake, and then nice bass grabbed the bait!!
It was over 3kg in weight, and I was very happy with that.
Pre-spawn bass in the lake are still staying a bit far from shore, at the mid-range depth.
Geecrack / Leaf Shrimp4.8(Jika rig) produced great results last year.
It is really effective espacially in spring and early summer.
Spring is almost here!!
Lake Biwa fishing guide Yama P(Norihito Yamashita) and his fishing guests have already caught big fish on Leaf Shrimp 4.8(Jika rig).
