It works well almost anytime and anywhere,
but it works really well in the area which hold bass feed on crucian carp.
The recommended hook is PIERCE HOOK BRUTAL 7/0.
Twist lock fishing hooks are great with it.

If you are fishing deep, or there is a strong current,
choose a heavy duty weighted hook.
