affects lure action.

If the weight is not close to the soft plastic bait like Inch Wacky,
they each move separately and have complex and intense action and appeal to fish well.

If the weight is close to the soft plastic bait like Zero Inch Wacky,
they move close to each other and the action will be lower than that of Inch Wacky.
So it will be good for approaching vertical structure or narrow area when looking for bass.
More sensitive approach is possible and it is effective for catching smart bass.
