It was tough in the morning as I expected.
I cast MOZAIC CHATTER & BITTER’S Skip Shad,
but caught only one big catfish.

At a time like this, let’s take a nap!!
When I was taking a nap, my fishing buddy had a bite!!!

He caught a nice fish!!

 

 
After few minutes, he caught nice fish again!! It was in good condition!!

 

 

I thought “I better get started”.
I cast Ano Straight5.5 inch (BackLash Original Color # Nagara Shrimp) and caught largemouth bass!!

 

 

Nagara Shrimp has glitter texture and is really effective even in muddy water.

 

 

He kept catching largemouth bass with his favorite lures.
Nice fish took the bait but his fishing line couldn’t bear the fish weight and he missed the bite.
And I missed loads of bites and couldn’t get any.

Talking about Ano Straight, we received a field report
from a fishing guide Mr. Mogi.
When he guided his fishing guest, he used Ano Straight (BackLash Original Color # Hologram Gill), and caught nice fish!!!
And his guest also cast Ano Straight (BackLash Original Color # Hologram Gill) and caught largemouth bass!!!

After that I caught fish which were 52cm, 55cm,
and 56cm in length!!!
The worm I used was deps / BULLFLAT(BackLash Original color “CHART-LAKE-GILL”)

 

 

CHART-LAKE-GILL was the most effective color on the day!!

My fishing buddy said,
“Ano Straight is really effective for fishing on Gosan river”.

I trusted him and cast it into the point he recommended
several times.
Then I snagged bottom.
He said, “There is a risk of snagging underwater obstacles there.”

I thought “Largemouth bass hang around the location where there is a risk of snagging.”
And I cast it again…and then I snagged bottom again!!!

After that we moved to the next fishing spot.
I saw his Ano Straight. He was using NSS hook!!!

He said “If you use Masu hook(hook for Trout), there will be a high risk of snagging underwater obstacles. ”

I thought “You should have said it first!!”
Next time I will use NSS hook right from the start!!
